Hi! I’m Sebastjan. I like to make things, explore new technologies, and occasionally write about what I’ve learned. Here are a few things about me.

My daily toolbox
Over two decades of hands-on engineering experience, with C, C++, Python, and a healthy dose of shell scripting at the core. Linux has been my natural habitat for more than 20 years ~ from low-level development and complex system integration to GPU-accelerated workflows, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.

NVIDIA Isaac Sim & Isaac Lab, digital twins and synthetic data generation. If it's dangerous or expensive to test in the real world, let's test it in the virtual one first.

I teach robots to think
Digital / Autonomous systems, ROS 2 ~ plus the reinforcement learning, sim-to-real and imitation learning that make robots actually learn. I work with IsaacSim and IsaacLab, in within NVidia Omniverse and teach robots tricks.

Computer graphics, visual effects, and real-time technologies ~ from high-end film compositing, rendering, and simulation to pioneering AR, VR, and immersive experiences. Deep expertise in procedural content generation, GPU optimization, shader development, and complex production pipelines, bridging traditional VFX craftsmanship with modern real-time engines.

Secretly an Emacs user
On my home Linux box, I'm secretly an Emacs user. I've written several extensions for it, from an AI-facing email-composition aid to Markdown integrations for my own stuff.

Sponsoring Chhouk
Animals cannot speak for themselves, cannot ask for help, and cannot explain what happened to them. All they can do is endure. That makes it our responsibility — not someone else's — to step in when we can. Chhouk was found in a Cambodian forest in 2007, barely a year old, his foot destroyed by a hunter's snare. He survived because people chose to act. Supporting organisations like Wildlife Alliance is one small, concrete way to make sure more animals get that chance.

Seb is an incredible person with a serious depth of talent, knowledge, and most importantly a deep passion to learn. A variety of skills that Seb demonstrated against delivering our company needs include: generating assets along with a pipeline for the largest executed augmented reality web platform, which generated 100+ Million AR experiences, and earning significant revenue; deploying scalable Houdini based solutions to generate ad and sports content; executing realtime experiences using Unreal game engine and deploying over 5G; managing a team of data and technical artists to execute and deliver on data driven storytelling; and most recently executing AI based solutions to help visualize the news.
